CENTRAL SCHOOL WEEKLY BULLETIN October 21st thru October 25th

Students

If you signed up for Problem Solving, there will be a brief meeting on Monday, October 21st, during Guide A in room16. – Mr. Gillespie

The next Yearbook meeting will be October 22nd in room 11 from 2:50-3:15. – Ms. Ralston & Mr. Salzer

Picture re-takes are on Thursday, October 24th.  If you would like a re-take, please return the original package to the main office and sign up for re-takes.  If you did not take a picture on the original day, please get an order form from the main office.

Mindfulness sessions will begin this week as we celebrate Peace in Our Schools Week. If interested, please see Mrs. Romaniuk to sign up. The first session will be on Friday, October 25th in Room 35 during guide. Don’t forget to stop by the lunch room to sign the Peace in Our Schools Banner.

Are you interested in building a solar-powered car and racing it against similar vehicles? Join Central Middle School's Junior Solar Sprints team. Races are in May, but car design and building starts now. See Ms. Paugh for details.

Have you ever wanted to play the stock market and see if you can make a million? Team up with some friends and test your wits against the Stock Market game. See Ms. Paugh for more information.

Student council is selling bracelets and necklaces for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at lunch this week. Donation is $1 - Mrs. Barth

If you have not already paid for the class dues of $15 at Back to School night, please send the money into school with your child.  These dues are for the school wide Holiday party and end of the school year picnic.  You can either send in cash or a make a check out to LHT PTO.  If you have any questions you can contact Christina Russotti at christinarussotti@gmail.com.  Thank you for your support!

 Buzz Book/PTO Membership:
The PTO Database form was sent home this week. Please check the information listed and make necessary changes. This is the information that will be listed in the Buzz Book Directory. To join the PTO, please sign the form and send $10 in an envelope marked PTO Membership. Your membership entitles you to a complimentary Buzz Book that is updated and distributed each fall, voting privileges at monthly PTO meetings, and access to the closed LHT PTO Facebook group. LOCKER LADDERS - the PTO is once again selling Locker Ladders to help students organize & maximize the space in their lockers.  They are $25 each and are currently available in black, blue, red, purple & pink.   If interested, please bring a check to the Main Office for $25 payable to LHT PTO in an envelope marked "Locker Ladder Order".  Thank you!
